Nice thread, I'm also glad to see EC in some players's best cws despite we're relatively new in the tier (just won our first badge the last season!).

I've had many awesome cws, is hard to pick the best. The most peculiar was probably that 3vs3 Syndicate vs Stalins Martians. Eu+ 10k but with one twist: We agreed that nobody would play PD. We ended up losing after I had to handle Desu and (BertanK or tact ?) west vs east (I remember having raged hard when Desu somehow managed to wall berlin) but it was still a great game. No screenshots of the game was saved and I don't remember the teams wells.

Looking forward for the duel version of this thread.

So we were looking at a random low rank for a third in cw, cause clans were afraid to cw us and we had to give rank advantage. So i take a look at the game lobby and i see a little spoiled arrogand asshole, rank 4, named "CHILL" dueling everyone and trashtalking them. Love from first sight and 100% khal material. Within 10 minutes chill was in 187 and we were cwing evol and offcourse proceded to wreck them in a beatifull game, where chill lost his cw virginity and mou his anal virginity. Good times

Man chill is so OP.... I still remember the day he joined me at Rockstar and was like "let's CW illyria". I remember theses two cws quite well since we were out ranked badly but chill somehow managed to rule west and win.

We had a good time there, me b0nker and chill.

Then he became a traitor and returned to illy....

My first cw was the favorite. Was in Dutch Pride and Eppie, FreakShow and me fought Dalmati. I was rank 4 or 5 and had no clue how to play cw as never did (world map was trending in 2011). I had to learn while playing, observing every move of my allies and opponents, while SRB trolls were watching, that did put little pressure on me. Eventually i capped and defeated Caulerpa, and we won the game. That was i believe first defeat of Dalmati, and they only had 4 more defeats in their history. Although SRB troll, Dalmati didn't and were quite friendly while Dutch Pride was on pot relaxed and totally not caring if someone mess up, very nice game that was. But unfortunately i didn't took screenshot as i didn't know back then, hell didn't even know such thing exist, i only bought computer recently before that game

But i didnt play in that cw, it was acqui, luciusII and someone else, i was so pissed because of that loss :p it was acqui's first cw and he had some lags iirc and i remember talking to lucius about how can acqui be so bad for such a high rank, i thought it was a sabotage lol... how foolish of me

No SS but it was me, Caulerpa, and VRIL. SRB had been trolling for a CW for weeks (in old days CWs were a rare occurrence). VRIL was Ukraine and surrounded on all sides by Ironail in Turk, Desu in Volga, and Fruit in Italy. I was Spain GC and Caul was Germany IF. VRIL was able to take out Desu but got killed by Ironail. Then I surprise capped Fruit and Ironail was overpowered by Caul and I both in the west. Doesn't sound particularly exceptional but there was a lot of drama leading up to that CW/ lots of pride on the line.

Ah yeah, the cw itself wasn't very exciting (srb made really bad country choices) but the build up to it was huge...

EDIT: I found a SS, it wasn't ironail but aristo

I remember one his clanmate tried to save him by surrounding his capital with units (flower, couldn't pass through units back then) and i really struggled to break through, and when i did i couldn't get out

My first cw was also my favorite and most fun.I was r8 and I had just bought premium.I was in ByrneTheWorld and we played against Cosa Nostra at the time when they were beasts.It was me,viva and Tectonic(miss you bro <3 ) vs Michael Corleone,Opi and Croat.

We were so nervous,especially me as I wanted to show that I'm worthy enough to be in cws and it was my first one.Nevertheless even if we lost we didnt have anything to lose so we werent that scared of losing,we knew that they were better in many ways.

Anyway I was spain(nc),viva germany(pd) and tact turk(imp) while croat ukr(dont remember),opi uk(nc i think) and michael france(pd logically).First turn opi rushed denmark with all his units while i rushed ireland,viva also rushed denmark and won,all others had a standard expansion.We were so happy that we had a chance to win!

It didnt take me long to think that I had to take out opi while pressuring france too,so I nerfed uk and france and broke both cap walls.Corleone hit barce and bilbao and broke my cap wall,croat pressured viva to kill him and opi tried to survive.T3 i capped opi while holding madrid and t5 when opi died i capped paris too.The turn after croat capped viva but the next turn I emptied paris and recapped berlin while east wasnt either lost nor won.

After that recap croat ragequited.We had won and were so happy for our clan's second win ever!We felt like heroes haha.I just remembered that when opi lost in denmark croat was raging at him calling him idiot and so on.Then when I recapped berlin croat started saying''I WILL BREAK MY COMPUTAAAAAAAA''

Anecdotally, Desu had never played in serious CWs and didn't talk much during it, obviously, he became much better in time. He was filling the role of Houdini who had quit. We(Aristo and I) also hadn't played in some months. With how often and harshly strats were nerfed, it comes as no surprise some people became outdated. GW and Imperialist were my best and a joke by then, IF to some extent as well in regards to range nerfs(France less viable etc).

as for CWs;
I don't recall who it was against but there was one bigger name coalition we were against in which everyone had died on SRB's side, and I was alone versus two remaining, one in germany and one in UK and I was playing turkey. It lasted til the very end and I was able to kill germany, won by literally a 10 point difference at the last minute vs UK, however, it was obvious I was going to win the long run anyway as I had already taken France. I want to say it was learster, but I don't really remember.

I also always really enjoyed beating Pera, and the KRALJEVA GARDA lads, they'd get so angry it was great.

Desu is quite good at that too, actually; In the top 5% or something, which is surprising. SRB has remained quite close - lots of them in an active group chat. The youngfags of us went on to college and are AWOL though, I imagine they'll pop back up soon enough.

yeah....i will leave that comment there just to remind myself that i can be wrong aswell sometimes because im a hard shell to break when it comes to my opinion..
But like i said in another post you guys should show respect to the new clan and give them their elo even though in previous instances it hasnt happened...its all about fair play

It's not a clan's fault there has been a bug... it's not your business in any way... it's something only the involved clans need to talk... it's something only admins can fix... it's something you need to understand, pls... so as I said, stay out of it and let programmers do their job. Idc if you're gonna say they won't do anything, it's not your business either, they are the admins and they will solve it... you might say we don't play fair or whatever, but you guys sure stick your nose where it isn't meant to be, something called minding your own business.

Ffs when the thread is made for SS only but everyone makes comments!
