Twice range twice cost units

Sometimes is very frustrating moving from Japan to Usa or to Africa to slow, specially in games without planes, if u cant buy units that have big range to invade, for example in GGG, we get colonial transports after some turn, but it should be in all games, cause i need half hour just to get from point A to point B, which is very boring, and if invading doesnt succed then again etc.......

If you need more range, play blitz or NC with the transport ships...

Giving any unit 2x range would be to OP, as for going from Asia to America you could chain transports?

I can actually imagine something like this working.
Maybe a +1 range to all units at turn 40, and every 20 turns after that?
By turn 40, a player would typically have finished dealing with any opposition on their starting continent, so this bonus would only be applied to transcontinental attacks.
That's probably a horrible idea, but just a thought.

Nice thought... but yeah... I dont really like the idea... it's more of a personal opinion though, since I think changing the range can clearly help ones to the detriment of others. Chaining transports isn't that hard to do to be needed such upgrade

Just play the game as it is.Using GW use Submarines,etc. I know it is hard,or lazy to do it,but face it.

Play maps with units that have more range, many maps like RP have them (I am not saying play RP if you dont like RP but many games use long range units but the default doesnt)

Blitz and NC can have provided you with extra ranges. I do not think double cost in exchange of double range worth
