Just for a bit of fun here are my thoughts on some Top 10's in AtWar. No flame intended all is tounge in cheek and totally my own or the contributers opinions. Feel free to propose some ideas for more to add!

Top 10 Clans ever!

10. Moderation team - Ok so not really a real clan, but the sheer genius of the idea for this clan helped them make my list

9. Evol - Evol are one of those clans you either love or hate, my opinion on them changes day to day, needless to say their willingness to clan war and them being the breeding ground for many of this years higher ranks puts them at number 9 on my list

8. Revolutionaries - probably an odd selection to most of you. The reason revs, Empire SRBs training clan make this list is for being the first clan to win a season.

7. Warborn Legion - The first serious coalition made on AW (after Squirrels) when I started they had some good players with Tophats, Nateballer and Pinhiero among their ranks, RIP Warborn.

6. Mortal Kombat - Like them or loath them MK have some great players and in my humble opinion the best teamwork in AtWar at this time, with the No1 Player as there leader and players that can play anywhere in the EU map, they deserve their place on this list.

5. Illyria - Frankly it is quite remarkable the sheer desire to cw from Illyria in the past year, arguably the best clan on AtWar at this moment, most CP earnt in the history of AW and second most cws played is enough to warrant them being high up on this list, and thats before we mention some of the great players they posses.

4. Syndicate - Second most trophies, second oldest (by a week) of the active clans, some of the most unconventional players on AW, trolls or not Syndicates history puts them number 4 on my list.

3. Stalins Martians - Oldest active coalition, most cw trophies, most cws and loyal players are the reason I have put my own clan at number 3.

2. Empire SRB - In its day SRB had some of the most well known players on Afterwind. Some notorious trolling coupled with some outstanding players (seriously very few challenged them) plus their rivalry with Dalmati etc made them number 2 on my list. When I started they were the number one clan and they let everyone know about it!

1. Dalmati - With a formidable line up, a flawless season, the record for most clan wars won in a row, even a good training clan that produced some goodplayers, Skender, Clovek, Pulse, Mauzer, Alexmezza, Myself, the list goes on, Dalmati for me are the greatest clan of all time.

10. Telsa - pushing forward the AtWar Radio station

9. Learster - MoS master, pretty much defines the strategy of stealth. Learstr'd

8. Avatar and Chess - 1st and 2nd Players of the year 2012/2013 respectively

7. Zizou - The guy has a freakin church named after him!

6. Madara - President of AtWar news and staff poty 2013

5. Tophats - Trusted by admins to work out (with others) needed strat changes, all top ever in ELO

4. FSM - A guy that brings that many players to AtWar deserves to be high on this list.

3. Tik-Tok - In map making terms Tik-Tok is widley considered the best, his maps have been a great addition to AW

2. The Mods - Clearly number two, pretty much tells you who number 1 is

1. Ivan and Amok - Obviously.

Top 10 Players I hate/d playing!

10. Freeland - This guy is nuts, still to work out if he is a genius or a madman, always seem to play badly vs him

9. Chess - Chess is a solid player, I have come close but yet to have beaten him in a duel. Much easier to play against in a 3v3 but in a 1v1 I lose....alot.

8. Desu - Having played with Desu for so long now, he basically just gets my style, I can beat Desu but I need to be at my best and a little lucky or hope he is having a bad day.

7. Tophats - I hated playing Tophats, one of those players that has such an array of tricks it is always a tough gig.

6. Madara - Madara is a strange one, I don't think he is that great (sorry bro) but he always seems to find a way vs me.

5. Nateballer - Glitch Glitch Glitch FU NATE!

4. Eagles (syndi) - I get a mental block when playing this guy, think his brown colour just throws me off.

3. Dbacks - Seriously Dbacks is a great AW friend but, lucky rolls, great play, unpredictable as fuck, I hated playing him

2. Acquiesce - Now I've had some great and enjoyable clan wars vs acquiesce, sometimes he brings out the best in me, other times I get taken to pieces. Guaranteed in a cw vs illy it will be me vs Acqui in the micro battle. Only once have I beaten him in a duel and that was a 1 min game LOL

1. Goblin - Another good AW friend, Goblin is the player I have played the most. He hates playing me and I hate playing him yet for some odd reason we keep doing it, its like some horrible addiction I cant escape. Unpredictable as fuck Goblin is my no1 player I hate playing.

Top 10 Maps! - with help from Freeland

10. Toys map - Play it, surprisingly fun and a great idea

9. King of the Hill - Simplictiy at its best,

8. Dreamworld, Destoria, Foundations edge etc - the first competition for competitive maps came up with these three gems.

7, Eurasia - for those larger battles, probably second favourite map for clan wars.

6. Lord of the Rings - If you have never played these maps and are a fan then you definatly should, some great work was put into them

5. Game of Thrones - Same as with LOTR who doesnt like pretending to be the Starks the WhiteWalkers, Khal-eesi etc

4. World War Two - Being Hitler has never been more fun.

3. Ancient World - The most played custom map obviously makes this list

2. EU/+ - Really if you are going to be 'competitive' on AtWar this is THE map you have to learn.

1. World Map - The default, most played map. A masterpiece.

Top 10 5k Starting countries World Map!

10. Syria - Suprisingly good try it

9. Serbia - Immediate access to spawn and close enough to grab some gold in the early turns.

8. USA South - Not many options in North America but this makes the list.

7. Ukraine - Good spawn and close enough to Moscow to make some gold early on

6. Canada Ontario/Quebec - Although quite expensive their closeness to rich areas and the only opponent likely to be USA south Canada can be a great pick in 5k.

5. Pakistan - With India next door and a high spawn start Pakistan can be formidable over time.

4. Poland - With Germany to the West scandies to the north and a spawn hotspot of the balkans to the south Poland is a good bet in 5k

3. Taiwan - Close to the two richest places in asia Japan and Shanghai Taiwan if played right is a great 5k pick

2. Belguim - my personal favourite, gold gold gold everywhere you go!

1. North Korea - So cheap, so close to rich spawn filled areas, North Korea is for me the best pick in 5k.

Top 10 Strategies!

10. Lucky Bastard - Amusing Strategy try it when you are bored

9. Great Combinator - not as hard as people make out, can be very fun to play

8. Master of Stealth - I used to love MoS, don't play it that much now but still in the right hands can be deadly

7. Blitzkrieg - really really fun

6. Guerrilla Warfare - if you survive the intial phase of the war, you are going to have a really fun game

5. Imperialist - death by numbers.

4. Naval Commander - I love NC hoping from city to city it is fast becoming my favorite strategy

3. Iron Fist - In a squeeze want to mess with your opponent IF is the way to go

2. Sky Menace - probably the best world game strategy, certainly the most used.

1. Perfcet Defence - with so many people playing it, and it saving my wars many times PD is at number 1 for me (as much as I hate to admit it)

Top 10 Trolls in AW History.

10. Dr.Trollface - with a name like that he has to make my list!

9. Spart - Spart is a massive troll, funny really considering he was a mod, his names, his comments...Troll.

8. Waffel - Just look at this guys avatar......yeah.

7. Zizou - If you have not been latejoined by Zizou then frankly you have not lived in AW, total troll.

6. Khal-eesi - I like Khal alot he/she amuses me, but I am in no doubt that at least 100% of his posts in forum are to troll or incite someone to react.

5. Indian Tiger - Gimmick duels anyone?

4. Clovis1122 - Clovis is a mixed bag really, sometimes he tries to be good for community other times he straight up trolls it.

3. Death1812 - Rep for Rep? I don't think I need to explain why Death is on this list.

2. Fruit (+ SRB) - Probably too many trolling antics in SRB to pick, but I will pick Fruit at the head of these, latejoinings, Barrymore rappings, Kaliraa flipping beds, tormenting tophats, the list goes on. Even their clan page is one massive troll.

1. Hdrakon - Hdrakon right now is a good member of the community, but once upon a time Hdrakon was a notorious troll. Evading bans, being banned on a daily basis, multiple accounts. in the end Hdrakons ways just began to become amusing, so much so that I think the moderators accepted it as part of the community, we waited in anticipation of Hdrakons logging in to see what antics he would get up to that day! I still think it is within Hdrakon to be a troll but nowadays he is more level and calm.

top 10 players I have learnt from (personally)

10. Vril - Vril was one of my original mentors from Dalmati Pups, probably more Dalmati in general but I was thankful for some of the tricks he/they showed me way back.

9. Tesla - A really nice guy some of his expansions and the time he took to show us in SM about them was much appreciated.

8. Barrymore - Barry's CW guide was up on our forums long before they were made public, I learnt a lot about game theory and country selection from them.

7. Houdini - I guess I am lucky having learnt from both sides of the SRB Dalmati divide, Houdini makes my list for his top 10 tips that he gave to SM forums in our early days.

6. Mortal Kombat - Playing MK has taught me a lot about team co-ordination and working to/against player stengths.

5. deviL - deviL was the first high rank player to notice me and for a short time pmed me advise, helped a lot.

4. Vdog115 - At one point I would be signing on to play Vdog on a daily basis, usually I would win but these games helped a lot to test new strategies and come up with new plans.

3. Goblin - Same with Vdog and as mentioned in the top 10 players I hate playing, Goblin has taught me a hell of a lot.

2. Sixstars - Sixstars was the first person to bring me into a clan, key to any players development. Without Sixstars I would probably have stopped playing and or still be making Zizou walls xa

1. Desu - hands down Desu has taught me the most in my AW history, his knowledge is quite remarkable this coupled with a generally patient but blunt approach to teaching plus a strong willingness to has overall made me a much better player then I should have been.

My Top 10 3v3 Countries Eu+ 10k

*note these are not what I think the best picks are, just what I enjoy playing.

10. Russia Northwest - Certain players (Freeland and Terminal hi) will say that RNW is on a par in pick terms with France Italy Poland, sorry guys imo its not but nonetheless if you want to into some NC or SM action RNW is fun to play.

9. Austria - If you are last pick in a 3v3 and you have turkey as an ally vs Germany Austria IF can be fun to play, try it.

8. Poland - With a purpose Poland is actually a nice pick and fun to play, with a turkey uk poland combo you will have a lot of run, even RA can shine hue.

7. Ukraine - I love the flexibility that Ukraine has really it is for me the only country where anything can be used and be effective, but to say I am A) Good at it or B) enjoy it more than the other big picks would be a total lie, I do understand its value though so it comes in at number 7 in my favorite picks.

6. France - France is the Marmite country for most people. I don't mind France, although I must say I don't feel as comfortable with it as I do with the other western powers. Nonetheless it comes in at 6 on my list.

5. Turkey - So many starting troops, such power, such wow. I think Turkey will be at a few peoples number 1. I like turkey but sometimes I find it a little one dimensional, nonetheless it comes in at 5 on my favorite countries to play, with Imp and PD being the strong strats here.

4. United Kingdom - UK really is a great country to play, PD NC Imp IF, expansion choices another great flexible country.

3. Italy - Eagles8539 once said to me that he thought Italy suited my style, to a degree I agree. Italy to me has strength in making your opponents think differently something that you can then take advantage of. The nerd terrors that can be inflicted with this country make it really fun to play. Pretty much every strat can be used if you know what you are doing, although PD, Imp and NC are top 3 for me here. Also Nero totally is into relevancy with Italy

2. Germany - Germany for me is all about flexibility, adapting to who your opponents are and where they are on the map is important, you must be able to think of different options and never play completely the same way. PD, IF, Imp even a little NC from time to time make Germany my second favorite country to play.

1. Spain - I love playing Spain, a lot of people see it as a country with limited options. Personally for me it has many options it just depends on how creative you feel. PD, GC, NC, Imp, SM, DS can all in the right circumstances be used here which for me makes it my favorite country to play!

10. Tirpitz - A hidden gem of the off topic forum is the Polandball thread, Tirpitz avatar is from one of these so he makes my list, if you haven't read them go have a look, some are hilarious

9. Fruit - All of Fruits avatars are weird and symbolise his trolling nature.

8. Pinhiero - Pinhiero's old Avatar with a zombie like figure smoking a cigar was one of my favorites.

7. Stomach Ulcers - Stomach once had a drunk kermitt the frog in a bathtub as his avatar, I found this highly amusing.

6. Acquiesce - Having Oasis 'definitely maybe' cover as your avatar is quite a bold statement, luckily I like it.

5. Hugosch - Wierdly authorative Hugosch's Sesame street avatar is quite a symbolic one for me.

4. Amok - Amok's AtWar avatar's style is nice and bold contrasting colours and makes a statement

3. Tophats - Tophats old avatar of a man with a tophat and moustache who looking strangely insane makes my list.

2. Tik-Tok - Ever thought of Tik as a bit older a bit grouchy? His avatar of Tik-Tok fits (obviously)

1. Safari - Safaris avatar is so Safari, cool probably drunk cat, even his trophies have it on!

(weird how a lot of these are mods, maybe its a pre requirement to have a memorable avatar!)

At the risk of bans, mutes and offense here are my personal favorite moderators from my time on AW, these are the ones that have helped me personally or I have found most notable/enjoyable to talk with. Sorry to the others pls no ban hue

10. Columna Durruti - personally always had a good understanding with Columna.

9. Meester (ex) - helped me a lot in testing my maps

8. Safari - Drunk mod, fun guy.

7. Desu - ofc desu is my aw friend and fellow clan leader, but he is a good mod, blunt and will allow (within reason) people to debate openly.

6. Pulse - basically pulse to me is the joker of the moderators, a lot of respect for him

5. Guest14502 - Nice guy, even if I rarely see him definatley not as much as I used to.

4. Pinheiro - one of the first mods I recognised, to me always been helpful.

3. Vril - A lot of people got Vril wrong, yes I was on the end of a few mutes but he was not the villian he ended up being portrayed to be.

2. Acquiesce - towards me Acquisece has always been respectful, although competitive he is a mod that can take a little light hearted flaming.

1. Hugosch - Always helpful, always direct and always honest with me favorite DJ also.
