AtWar Holidays/Events?

Khey my little accordions, I was going to just send this to Ivan, because of the looooong, bureaucratic process of getting anything bumped and supported on this subforum, but I decided it would better be said here, instead.

Basically- Holidays. We have awesome, pun-filled holidays. For December, since it's right around the damn corner, this may not be a possibility, unless (as I was already planning), we somehow tie it into AtWar Reuinion²: "The Return". But, what I mean by "Holidays", is basically (Using December as an example) just a festive boost in SP output for everyone, special holiday trophies/medals, decorations (Bloody snow, shrapnel-enriched ice, icicles, etc), and of course: Robo-fucking-Santa (Dat Beta). There could be events/holidays for any occasion- even ones of original creation (Is AtWar too mainstream for Friday the 13th? 12th it is! Or hell, since Friday the 13th is next month, Robo-Santa can also be undead). Anyways, I believe Holidays would bring a good change of pace, and invite players to come back for extra SP, festivities, etc. Thoughts?

I love the idea, maybe special medals for events connected to the holiday in the particular season.

Support, encourages gameplay over the holiday period

I like it. Maybe seasonal rare units too? Such as undead robo santa for christmas.

Premium is cheap enough as it is. You're paying for extra benefits in an already free game, take the stick out of your ass and take an economics class.

Also guys: Would you like "Wars", as in: There's a specific event in AtWar during a Holiday (We'll use Robo-Santa as an example), where each player racks up points to defeat the "Opposition" (Robo-Santa), by playing matches/gametypes based on the specific holiday (Invasion of the North Pole?), etc. Once the quota has been met, and the Opposition defeated, all participants would receive bonus SP/trophy.

Not everyone celebrates the same holidays ^-^ Support.. for only international holidays

They would be any specific holiday, they would be a blend of many, and be original unto themselves, like every other game.

Special events would be great!
Maybe an extra 24h on all casual game turns might be nice (for those visiting family and having no time to play).

Ya i guess 2k is nice.

You could go with 10k, i guess rank by sp doesnt really mean all that much since its a farmable commodity, but it just so happens that the deserving no1 player is the highest sp holder atm.

and realistically a rank 3 wouldnt win such a game lol, so we dont need to worry about any someone hitting the high ranks that doesnt know you shouldnt defend witht tanks lol
