Clanwar Tournament!

I am creating this tournament in the hope At-war will get more clan wars and competitive clans! There might be a possibilty that there are not much clans for pool 2, so I could put some clans with avg rank higher then 7 in pool 2. Some clans might only play TvT's in costume maps so if both clans agree to play in one of those there is no probleme. Ofcourse there might be a possibility that 1 of the clans doesn't want to cw on costume map and the other clan does. Well the only solution is that Europe+ is a standard map so this one wins.

Only the Clan leader & officer can sign you up for this tournament.

There is no maximum of clans
Just no alt clans made during the tourney. I will split those clans in 2 pools
- Pool 1 : Will be with 5 clans with their avg. Rank 8-15
- Pool 2: Will be with 5 clans with avg. Rank 1-8

EDIT: It is possible for a clan to make a second team for Pool 2.
If all clans are signed up I will ask you guys about the teams. REMEMBER ONLY MAKE A SECOND TEAM IF YOU HAVE ENOUGH MEMBERS FOR IT.
AND FOR THE RECORD! NO ALTS IN ANY WAY MAY PARTICIPATE.


(IMPORTANT EDIT:)
Because of the technical problems of challonge im not allowed to make a bracket of 10 teams (pool 1) or a bracket with 7 teams (pool 2). I am allowed, but some clans get auto wins in the first round, and that seems to be unfair. So I have decided to make 2 pools with the avg. rank of 0-8 and 8-15. So a clan with avg rank of 8 can be put in both pools now. I have to drop 1 of the double teams since we need 16. And we got 17 now. ( My apologizes for this problem, I know its taken forever, but its about to start soon)


Clanwar Rules:
Game type : Europe+ or Euroasia (if both clans agreed on this)
Teams: 2v2/3v3/4v4/5v5
Turn duration: 3/4/5 mins
Starting funds: 5k/10k
Victory: Capture player capital and hold for at least 2 turns*
Game duration: 50 turns*
Rares: None*
Initial countries: 1*
Extra cities: ✔
Allow rejoining: Off
Disable uprades: Off
Disable strategies: Off

Rewards:
The winning clan will get a First place trophy.
The second and third clan will also get a trophy if mods approve it.

Wow never thought so many clans would sign up. Good move to have more clan activity. As these days only Syndicate SM and illyria only cws. Hope other clans would participate regularly.

How many matches for each team against each in pool ?

Well im not sure about that tho, I was thinking about just 1v1 next round, but i want to give the clans a fair way to go further into. Other idea could be a 12x12 match, but I think that would be hard to complete. D: Any tips are welcome tho.

I'm thinking knockout would be most efficient yet it would not be very conclusive.

I suggest 2 games in each pool against every other opponents. top 2 team from each pool plays in the semifinals and finals which will of best of 3. in group stages if 2 teams are of same wins/losses we can look at the cp to decide who goes through.

And bitching started > 2-1 Belgium eagles. This is not a revenge you should come with something better ;3

If you are really serious about hosting this tournament you have move it forward. Make deadlines for the first round 2nd round and so on. And essentially force the clans to take the initiative. But you haven't even divided the pools yet. Please start have more members to help you in organizing this .
