The ultimate challenge

I think we need a new alternative to death duels which nobody cares about anyway. A definitive method of testing 1 player against another to see who's better at atwar and for general shittalking purposes. I'm thinking a best of 21 series of duels(first to 11 wins) like i've seen in other games. We should figure out a range of settings to test both players thoroughly against each other. Try and find something most of us can agree on. IMO something like this.

Rules:

1. No wfs
2. No rewalls
3. Can't play same country twice.

2 X eu+ east duels 10k - standards everyone should know
2 X eu+ west duels 10k - standards everyone should know
2 X africa duels 3k - Tests money management + usage of economic strats.
2 X ancient world duels 10k - tests close combat gameplay
2 X eurasia duels 5k europe vs asia - Tests expansion efficiency + lategame skills. Play on my eurasia map which has income balanced on both sides. Eu is too powerful on the default map.
2 X asia 50k - some snobs call this a noob setting but it uses uncommon strats and has its' own meta.
2 X dreamworld 10k
2 X eu+ 5k - Another classic standard
2 X latin america 5k
2 X destoria 10k
1 X eu+ 15k 2 initials
Any other ideas/suggestions on the settings?

1. Asia has +100 infantry neutrals to expand through than eu.
2. Asia lacks eus mobility
3. its 5k so the op vietnam you and chess were complaining about doesnt come into play.
4. Even if i wanted to edit the map i couldnt since the map editor is closed to me.
5. its miles more balanced than eu vs asia on the default map.
6. Even if 1 side emerges as op theres 2 games and players play both sides.
7. Have you a better idea on how to test a players lategame?

We already discussed this. Asia reaches half of it's income within the first 4 turns. Europe is still barely at 20% with the best expands by the 4th turn

We discussed the issue of vietnam and the slightly too much income asia has. I suggest you go find better eu expands because mine almost match the early income gains of asia. Asia gains a lead t5-t9 but eu catches back up. And lets not forget 25% of asias spawn is based on the ownership of 1 capital and roughly 12% of its overall income that youre adding up is based in that country which is on the frontlines and super easy to reset.

You're splitting hairs here in regards balance. It's still a pretty fair matchup. If i were to apply any changes id only chop 400 income off of asia and fix the vietnam issue for 10k. It should do perfectly fine for this challenge.
