The sad state of the map editor.

Come on, can some one explain me what the actual fuck is going on?
1.- Silverlight server's are down every other day (like right now)
2.- Admins officially removed the option to create new maps&scenarios in the editor.
3.- Html5 doesn't allow new scenarios to be made, so you are limited to making maps which frankly is the least wanted reason for the map editor, people just make custom maps so they can make a custom scenario out of it.
4.- Updating any custom map in silverlight will break it in html5, no exceptions.
5.- nearly all of my silverlight maps are bugged and have error's loading data/paths and other stuff, i can't even edit them anymore cuz they are that bugged.
Clovis should either release the scenario editor as buggy as it or they should give us back the option to make new maps in silverlight, there is no reason to discontinue such feature when html5 doesn't have a scenario editor.

Our plan is to allow you guys to clone your maps. That way if the map get broken with the new editor, no damage is done. At some point we'll allow you guys to edit your original map though.

I know , perhaps i am inpatience but the main reason who i bought premiun is the map editor .

I am so glad that they have ideas to save our old maps. About 1.5 year ago, I saved my maps in the new editor, even tho saving was disabled. RIP. Thank You Clovis for your help, and, onbehalf of the community, we love when you update us! Some of us still pray for a changelog

Ya sorry for the lack of updates guys. Like I said, I've got access to our server code so that I can know what's going on there. One major feature that's still missing is the ability to save scenario events, task which I have been working on for a while. Hope to get it done this weekend.

Just allow us to craate new maps on SL editor . I know you want us to try the new editor ,but no one will make a decent map with 4000-2000 size . When that is fixed close the SL editor forever . i am wainting 1.5 month to create a new map.

Guys, I'm getting really bored about the HTML5 map editor. 4 months with no absolutely changes whatsoever. I can only create maps and save them, then it's all finished. Please let us use SL for making scenarios and other maps (I would like to try html5 when it's finished).

Yo, some small updates. We're done implementing all the major features of the Scenario Editor, and it should be released soon (waiting on Ivan for a small detail that needs to be checked). As for the cloning issue, we'll work on it right after all this is sorted out.

Ah, the scenario events were deployed to our test server yesterday  So aside from the color issue that I fixed some hours after, you guys can go and test all the major features of the scenario editor. Both Amok and I made several tests to ensure that everything's working, but if you guys can also test the editor - all the better!

I edit maps in old silverlight. I clone a map. I can edit it once. The next time I try to edit it again, I get an error "This map can't be edited in html5" or some shit. So I can edit it obviously, once, and then it doesn't work anymore Anyone else got this error? Fix?
