In response to the Banlist Question

To clarify what you are allowed to do with the banlist, we have added a new rule. The reason we implemented the banlist in the first place was to curve the amount of trolls people had in games, specifically UN games.

When certain players start demanding "that we have the right to ban whoever we please for whatever reason," that brings down the quality of enjoyment that other players may have from the ego-maniac, power-driven players similarly to a mafia shakedown. "Do this or else ban" is an idea we are fully against. Just because you build a nice park for the public, does not give you the right to exclude people from coming to it because you don't like their skin color or religon. It is wrong. This isn't up for debate; there is a rule in place now.

Feel free to keep doing your strike as long as you want. I believe in freedom of protest.

Again instead of making a rule with exact list of reasons on which someone can ban a person, you made once more a poorly made rule that is open for your own arbitrary decisions.

I agree map makers should have reasons to ban, but you didn't name does reasons and left a rule that can be interpreted by the "judge" as he pleases, in this case you the mods.

I agree with this, calling us racists because we judge on skin color? when have we done this? youre analogies are shit cthulhu, if you want to make a rule please make it clear, I already said this is why we are having these issues, you cant think through your actions and make rules that are clear.

I really support the mods in this decision.... I just... well personally disagree that you can't ban people from games for personal reasons. cause i don't have very many people on my banlist, and all of them are justified at one layer or another.

I don't want to be known as a rule breaker, and a cheater. so i will remove people from my banlist if necessary, but i do not agree wholly with this new rule.

btw guys, Mods clearly refered to banlist on Maps and Scenarios you've made, not in the banlist of games you host. Don't remove people yet.

I know I know how to solve everything!!!

Put in all your maps:

"Follow rules or you will be banned. You have been warned.

Rule #1. If you do this, you are banned.
Rule #2. If you win, you are banned.
Rule #3. If you lose, you are banned.
Rule #4. if you don't join, you are banned."

Since you can ban players that do uk france alliance on colonial maps, why no ban players that disobey a Map or Scenario's rule?

Reasons not listed by the mapmaker. If the mapmaker does not provide reasons for the ban, the ban can be revoked.

I feel like their is some mistrust here (prob due past events), map makers make one of your own to an advisor, so that he can talk about your complaints to lets say columna durruti(or any other mod you prefer). Rather then making this posts that wont do much.

Who says its a personal reason and that you can define it as that? ...if that person is insulting my map in front of other players and insulting me that can prove badly for my map.

Personal reason would be: ..."i dont like that guy", "gona ban you because your from that clan", "you beat me in a game and im angry"
