He did try to cooperate with Yugoslav Army in the Fatherland (remnants of Yugoslav Army defeated by nazis in April War, called 'chetniks' by croatian ISIS), but he never collaborated with German Army and other fascists. His allies were Soviets, Americans, British and Italian, Albanian communist partisans. Though later Americans changed sides and started to fight Soviets and Yugoslavs.
