Helly here for all of you aspiring map makers who are unable to even try and get started working with the feature you payed for. For browser Silverlight in all regards is dead....

But if you cant wait till 2020 for the html5 map editor to come out there is hope!

And install option one, this is the now functioning Silverlight client! (it was broken for I'm not even sure how long)

There you go now you can create maps you have always desired to create like advertised when purchasing premium! Have a good day gents - Helly out.

Any would be just as good. Just do what you want to do.

Ok I got what I'll do, I'll do it aetius style and reuse the map for several scenarios, I'll start with a none team political version in 1930. Then I'll adapt it to 1937 team version and finally a 1942 asian theatre ww2.

ok, i will tell you. Any map made 2014 or later was created using outlines hyper-imposed into the custom map's background. Once the borders were done the background was replaced with one lacking the outlines.

Aetius killed the School of Free-Hand map making.

That's fine, iv always free handed, I'm to the point now where my borders free handed look better the his traced. So in all regards my quality will not be permissible soon. Btw that wasn't a secret adog told me that long ago. I think it takes the craft men's work out of the whole thing and turns art into something inferior, and yes I do think map making is an art form.

I knew that too... infact pretty sure everyone in Optimates knows since we were talking about it in clan chat.

They are probably down for maintenance,this is usually the time server companies update there equipment. Try again in a little while, I'd investigate myself but I'm away from my computer right now.

I wish that were true, but I've been getting the same message for a long time now. The client isn't usable.

So did you reinstall it from scratch or did you just retry a version that was already on your pc? This version is updated and stable.

I downloaded the new client and I just get the server error over and over. Did I download the wrong one? I made sure to update my silverlight too.

I've messaged Sun Tzu telling him the Silverlight editor is down, no word back yet.

Well nifty told me that happens quiet alot and it will be fixed once amok online .-.

it happens often ill say and yeah usually you just got to message sun tzu and it is solved within a few days. the problem is a lot of us lose motivation when we cant edit when we want.
