Miniature World

The planet earth, with its many bodies of water and geographical nuances, makes for a very interesting Afterwind map. But many, me included, have not the time nor the patience to play a full world game, and this has always been a problem - until now:

Allow me to introduce "Miniature World". The concept is simple: take the planet earth and compress it to the size of the standard Europe map. Your battleships can get from London to America in two turns, your infantry from Madrid to Berlin in one.

Miniature World plays very swiftly and should be very well balanced. I think there is a lot of potential for Europe+ styled competitive (team) play on this map.

Notes:
- All units are standard.
- Country and city incomes correlate with GDP but should be pretty well balanced.
- Canada is no longer an ocean.
- Subdivisions of the map are available if you want to play only certain sections (America, Eurasia, etc).
- Feel free to use this map for any and all scenarios you wish to make.
- Any feedback as you see fit would be great.

Well you can't blame us for that. Each time i try to upload a world map background afterwind freezes or i lose connection :/
