i have no upgrades with gen except gen defense first of all , 2nd of all he is a pro rank 8 and i am noob

Yeah the general without upgrades isn't so OP that it beats pros, with upgrades it is though.
Also, gg pontez, unfortunate start. I play it very safe now, after too many disasters, it has proven to fare well.

Stryko won, though, I do have to wonder: Why is a tournament for "Middle Ranks" made up of many rank 8's? Would they not be classified as "High ranks"?

I suppose some feel that 8 isn't pro. Personally I'd say the upper bounds of rank 8s are and lower not. It also depends on how much they have taken from their experience. Some might have got premium since rank 1 and will have accelerated through at twice the speed.

Because 0-4 is considered beginner, 5-8 is considered mid, and 9-13 is considered pro.

Most rank 8s are trash. I did ask on global a few times what everyone considered 'middle ranks'. I got one that said 4-6, another said 4-7 a bunch of other told me 5-8. But, rank 4 is definitely a low rank. So, I went with public opinion and 5-8 it was. Personally, I don't think we would have made 32 players without them either. I didn't join because well, I really get nothing out of playing a 5-8 tournament because I have a huge advantage over everyone else. This tournament is for the community and players that want to prove themselves/get involved with the community. 'Mid Ranks' is where these players shine in my eyes. Think about it, don't UNs and scenarios keep most players into the game? We need something appealing. That's why I'm checking this forum 10-15 times a day and made the presentation for this tournament as appealing as possible. I was ready to leave atWar a few weeks ago but, when you stop putting in work, it stops working.

This tournament is for the community and players that want to prove themselves/get involved with the community. 'Mid Ranks' is where these players shine in my eyes. Think about it, don't UNs and scenarios keep most players into the game? We need something appealing. Madara I really enjoy the idea of a mid-rank tourney and thanks a million for putting it together. If it is not too much trouble, I hope you find time to organize another soon. I am sure you can sense how many players are excited about this as well (just look at their profiles and see all the 1v1 matches they have been practicing!), including myself. Thanks again!
