you first have to see something in order to interpret it, since there is a delay between interpreting and seeing... your brain is always interpreting the "past". Now the difficult part is this: does the beholder require time in order to exist or does time require a beholder to exist?

ill go down with "True" because dead beholders can't behold, so when a beholder sees the past they have to be alive.
