Regarding general's upgrade

Just got a 'general adds +1 attack to all attacking units in the stack' upgrade and have been experimenting with it for maybe 4 games. my tanks should be attacking at a 9 with the general but i see no evidence they are in fact doing so.

is there any way to tell for sure your upgrade is working and these tanks are actually attacking at a 9 with the general?

Settings ----> Personal -----> Battle Speed -----> Very Slow
You can monitor your rolls each battle and see if your upgrades are working.
For me, it is.
