Great Combinator not so much anymore

I had been away from AW for about 9mos and upon coming back resumed palying with my "go to" strat, Great Combinator. I noticed i was getting my ass kicked a lot and started to question the use of the GC strat. Alas, my research in the forum revealed the HP reduction, thus explaining the loss of GC effectiveness. THIS IS A SHAME. GC was a great strat that is now impotent. Combined arms warfare is the standard in modern warfare and AW should reflect this. BRING BACK GC!

Does any one else feel this way?

GC was too strong in relation to the other strats so that HP boost got nerfed. Game balance is fine at the moment.

I did know how to use it, that is the point. Terminal is right, a tweak would do it right.

In my opinion: pd>>tg>=gc

Gc is still strong in specific situations. (Ukraine, Poland, maybe Spain) But it's not good in world games. It's the worse for world games. It's also probably the least versatile strategy.
