What Vafika means, is that its an image forum if you will- where practically every meme on the internet emerged (except those failed attempts made by tumplr rororo and that shitty numa numa kids hue hue hue) it's also home to many sects all grouped by chanology, one you may know very well, are Anonymous, internet vigalantes whos motto goes soething like "hack this shit fuck with that shit" mainly DDO'Sing small sites for the lulz. 4chan is also notorious for gay porn, and my little ponys seem to be the new "thing"...if you want a good expierience, I'd suggest Encyclopedia Dramatica as a Wikipedia replacement, Krautchan for your lulz, and Jewtube as a replacement for everything else.

Not quite. /i/ was the cancer killing /b/ after all, as characterised by Moot. I wouldn't promote 4chan that way anyway. Despite this, this is where AnonOps (a precursor to other Anonymous organisations) took off during the raids on anti-BitTorrent law firms last year. I don't know if they have died out by now but I did actually participate in those. I stopped around the time the raids on anything anti-WikiLeaks began.
