There is this thing in chess call hope chess where you play a move or an opening that is dubious if your opponent knows how to refute it but if they dont it gives you a big advantage. You're trying your luck on if your opponent knows how to refute it or not.

If i spend 5 mins googling for this tactic i can spot it and counter every game.

I spent 7 years in AW and i am never sure about a rush.

you will never memorize every tactic and gambit juger. Even those gambits have many many many sidelines.

Its no way near as complex as AW rolls strats units etc are thow.

War is not always predictable. I have won and lost based on extreme rolls.
